SAVE TIME AND MONEY IN COLLEGE THROUGH COLLEGE CREDITS/ADVANCED PLACEMENT

Most colleges and universities world-wide offer college credit, advanced placement, or both for qualifying AP Exam scores. This can mean fulfilling graduation requirements early being able to skip introductory courses or required general-education course. You must have either a valid passport or another valid, government-issued ID, such as an Aadhaar card, to register and take AP Exams.

• You must be under the age of 21 at the time of the exams (Born after May 31, 2001)
• You cannot take an AP Exam in a given subject more than once in the same year.
• You cannot retake an exam in the same year, although you may retake it in a subsequent year.
• You cannot take both Calculus AB and Calculus BC in the same year.
• You can take any or all of the 4 Physics exams in the same year.
• You cannot take 2 exams scheduled at the same time during the Regular Testing period.

Instead, you may choose to take one of the conflicting exams during the Late Testing period

Exam structure

The Advanced Placement exams' duration can vary from 90 minutes to 200 minutes. It depends on the subject. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and a free response section.

Scoring method

Students with an AP score of three or higher in the five-point Advanced Placement score system are said to be successful, and have the opportunity to apply for the AP level college courses. Whether you take AP in Grade 9, 10, 11, or 12, your AP score will remain valid until you start college. If your most recent AP Exam was over four years ago, your scores have been archived.
