REPORT ON NATIONAL ART COMPETITION 2025 HELD UNDER THE AEGIS OF AMITY SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS, AMITY UNIVERSITY, NOIDA.
As part of its annual mega-event Kreativ, AMITY SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS, AMITY UNIVERSITY, NOIDA organized NATIONAL ART COMPETITION 2025. The competition for which preparations were going on since December, 2024 was conducted under 2 categories: - 1. Where digital entries were invited from all over the country & 2. Where the participants were invited to Amity University, Noida to participate in the Amity Art Camp and work and submit their art-work at the university only.
Digital Entries were received from 28 participants from various institutions like Jamia Milia Islamia University-Delhi, Assam University-Silchar, Banasthali Vidyapith-Rajasthan, Soban Singh Jeena University-Almora, Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing & Visual Arts-Rohtak, Sri Anna Kamakshi Music & Fine Arts College-Chennai, Teerthankar Mahaveer University-Moradabad, Maharishi University of Information Technology-Noida, Amity University-Manesar and Amity University-Noida.
Similarly for the Amity Art Camp there were 25 participants from renowned universities like Amity University-Noida, Amity University-Manesar, College of Art-Delhi, Maharishi University of Information Technology-Noida, Noida International University-Noida.
The event was visited by senior artists like Smt. Mona Rai, an eminent artist, Shri Dadi Pudumjee- a renowned Puppeteer & Padamshree Awardee and Shri Pratul Dash- a well-known artist. All of them appreciated the art-work of the participants.
National Art Competition 2025 was supported by Faber-Castell, a trusted brand with over 260 years of experience in creating high-quality art materials and committed to 100% carbon neutral production and Luxartica, which is not only a creative company but is a community of talented professionals, all of whom are passionate about their craft.
The top 5 winners of Digital Entries and the top 3 winners of Amity Art Camp were given cash awards, sponsored by Luxartica. Also, 10 participants of the Art Camp received Faber-Castell products worth Rs. 1,000/- each.
The winners were given the awards by the invited senior industry persons Mr. R. B. Santosh Kumar, Artist & Chairman, Luxartica, Mr. Harminder, Area Manager, Faber-Castell & Mr. Ishan, Sales Executive, Faber-Castell in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Joshi, Group Additional Pro Vice Chancellor Director General & Dean, Faculty of Applied Arts/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Visual Arts.
Annual Art Camp on topic ‘Social Harmony’ was organized by Amity School of Fine Arts, Amity University, Noida between 20th, 21st and 22nd March 2018. Founder President Dr Ashok K Chauhan, Renowned Artists Padmabhushan Biman Das, Mr Kashmiri Khosa, Mr Diago, and Mr Bhushan opened the Art Camp.

The art camp has been witnessed by many numbers of viewers including eminent artists, dignitaries and the students of Amity University.

Total 12 number of participants have been created 12 paintings on canvas. A colorful rangoli based on a famous painting by Kandinsky done by a group of students had been created welcome the visitors.
