Student Recruitment, Selection and Admission
AIHE has a well-defined admission process, which is given as follows:
Step 1
The student downloads the ‘Student Enrolment Form’ (Application Form) from AIHE website.
Step 2
The duly completed Application Form and other documents along with the
registration fee are submitted directly or through email to admissions department – AIHE. The PIO requirements are strictly followed for international students.
Step 3
The Admissions Committee at AIHE decides on the eligibility of the candidates after meticulous verification of their documents. Thereafter an Offer
Letter is issued to them.
Step 4
Applicants who have been offered a seat will be issued the following via email from AIHE:
Local Students:
- I. ‘Offer Letter’.
- II. Information on Fees payable; refund and withdrawal policy.
International Students:
- I. ‘Conditional Offer Letter’;
- II. Information on Fees payable; refund and withdrawal policy;
- III. Information on accommodation, student visa services and compulsory medical insurance for foreign students.
Step 5
Upon receipt of the letter of acceptance from the student, the following are ensured:
- I. The AIHE will inform the student again of the payment schedule.
- II. The AIHE will issue a payment receipt after receiving evidence of payment.
Step 6
All arrangements for travel to Mauritius must be made by foreign students to be on time for the induction session. If, the student is not able to be on campus or before the induction session, he / she should inform AIHE in advance.
The student is formally admitted to AMITY family and is provided with the student handbook and other appropriate document.
Amizone – The AMITY dedicated eMIS will also be made accessible to the students. It offers various facilities to students such as online access to the timetable, syllabus and course material, access to online journals, amongst others.
