Confirm Your Eligibility

English Proficiency

Proof of English proficiency will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. However, basic English comprehension and competency is mandatory for all applicants.

STEP 1:

Complete the application form by clicking the “Apply Now” button at the bottom of this page or you may download the application form with the below documents and submit it to admissions@mauritius.amity.edu

  1. Passport size photograph with white background
  2. Copy of ID/Bus Pass/Passport for local students or a copy of the Passport for International students.
  3. For Foundation applicants, a copy of your NIC and Birth certificate (for local students) or a copy of your Passport and proof of your English proficiency.
  4. For the Extended Diploma applicants, a copy of your GCE A-levels or equivalent qualification and a copy of your NIC and Birth Certificate (for local students) and copy of your passport (for international students).
  5. For the undergraduate applicants a copy of your NIC and Birth Certificate and your academic transcripts from HSC along with the passport copy (for international students).
  6. For the postgraduate applicants a copy of your NIC and Birth Certificate and your certificate from SC and HSC and certificate and transcripts from the Bachelor degree, along with the passport copy (for international students). A detailed CV will be required.
  7. For the Doctorate programme applicants, a copy of your NIC and Birth Certificate, your certificate from SC and HSC and certificate and transcripts from the Bachelors and Masters degree.

STEP 2:

The Admissions team will assess your application, and an offer will be made to successful candidates.
Kindly review your offer letter carefully as it will outline key details such as the programme you have been admitted to, commencement dates, tuition fees, payment modes, refund policy, accommodations, student visa services, mandatory medical screening and insurance and other important information.


Offer Assessment and Letter

  • Admissions team reviews your application.
  • Successful candidates receive an offer letter containing:
    • Programme details and commencement dates
    • Tuition fees and payment modes
    • Refund policies
    • Accommodation options
    • Student visa services (for international students)
    • Mandatory medical screening and insurance requirements
    • Other essential information
  • Action: Review the offer letter carefully.

STEP 3:

  1. Upon receiving the offer letter, the applicants will need to proceed to make the payments of their 1st year tuition fee and the administrative charges (as per the letter of offer).
  2. Official Receipts will be issued for all payments made.

Payment of Fees

  • Pay first-year tuition fees and administrative charges as specified in the offer letter.
  • Official receipts will be issued for all payments.

Step 4 (For International students only):

  1. Hard copies of the Visa related documents will need to be couriered to Amity Mauritius.
  2. Please refer to the “Visas” section for the detailed checklist.
  3. Visa applications will be submitted to the Passports and Immigration Office (PIO), Mauritius by the Visa team at Amity Mauritius.

Visa Process (International Students Only)

  • Courier hard copies of visa-related documents to Amity Mauritius.
  • Visa team submits applications to the Passports and Immigration Office (PIO), Mauritius.
  • Refer to the Student Visa section for a detailed checklist.

Step 5 (For International students only):

All arrangements for travel to Mauritius must be made by the foreign students. It is strongly advised to arrive in Mauritius in time for the Induction Session. If the student is unable to arrive on time, the Admissions and Student Support team will need to be notified.


Travel Arrangements (International Students Only)

  • Students are responsible for arranging their travel to Mauritius.
  • Arrive in time for the Induction Session.
  • Notify the Admissions and Student Support team if unable to arrive on time.

Step 6:

The Induction Session takes place, and the student is formally admitted to the AMITY MAURITIUS.

Amizone – The AMITY dedicated e-Management Information System which offers various facilities to students such as online access to the timetable, syllabus and course material, access to online journals, etc; will also be made accessible to the students.


Induction and Amizone Access

  • Attend the Induction Session for formal admission to AMITY Mauritius.
  • Gain access to Amizone, our e-Management Information System, offering:
    • Online timetable and course materials
    • Access to syllabus and lecture notes
    • Online journals and research resources

VISAS

AMITY SINGAPORE

To apply for a Student Visa, you will need to submit a completed Visa Application Form along with the following documentation to the Student Recruitment Office


Duly filled and Completed Application to Enter Mauritius form (Signature should be same as passport)
4 passport size photos (Jpeg format)
Copy of passport data page-passport should be valid for the whole duration of the programme.
Signed letter of acceptance from the student (Signature should be same as passport)
Sponsorship Letter
Undertaking from parent confirming their financial commitment (dated and signed)
Sponsorship letter- the sponsorer should mention his/her relationship with the student, should provide his/her contact details (address, phone number, email address) Bank Statement
Recent and original (not print out) bank statement dated for the past 6 months. The statement should bear the signature of the Bank officer and seal of the Bank. The Bank balance must show sufficient funds, USD 6,060 after paying the deposit of tuition fees.
Medical test- (seal on all the medical reports)

Information for Agents

The steps to register are as follows: 

Email your Agent Application Form and a copy of your company trade license to the admissions@mauritius.amity.edu

Your application to become an agent will be reviewed within 5 working days. 

If you are successful, an agency agreement will be prepared and sent to you. A signed copy of the agreement will need to be sent back to the university.
