Linguafest 2025: Felicitation of Dr Dibyajyoti Mukhopadhaya

Amity School of Foreign Languages at Amity University Kolkata hosted Linguafest 2025 to celebrate the global spectrum of languages through music, drama, discussion and visual art.

The event opened with a welcome note by Professor Devjani Bhattacharya of the school. The performances by students included French songs, German skit, and French play. A panel titled The Power of Small Talk featured some language experts who highlighted speaking practice, importance of language cafés, and the value of human interaction in language learning. There was an exhibition of students’ posters which showcased the linguistic diversity of the world. Professor Partha Pratim Dasgupta concluded the event with his valuable comments on merging culture with communication.
