Amiphoria 2025: A Spectacular Extravaganza at Amity University Kolkata
Amity University Kolkata hosted its much-awaited annual fest, Amiphoria 2025, uniting over 6,000 students from 70 colleges for three days of exhilarating competitions, wonderful performances, and boundless celebrations. The festival showcased a dynamic mix of events across multiple domains. Day 1 kicked off with high-energy competitions - Basketball Bash, Ball on Grass, and Celestial Threads (fashion show), where students displayed their talents and sportsmanship. Day 2 saw an intense musical showdown at Rockmania – Clash of Bands, where the participating bands gave some electrifying performances, setting the stage on fire with their musical prowess. Day 3 brought a soulful touch with Folk Unplugged, revealing the rich traditions of India’s folk music.
Beyond music and sports, students showcased their intellect and creativity in Innovathon (case study competition), Debate, Business Got Latent (brand clash), Robo Lineup (Tracequest 2.0), Devdrive (coding), Webmaster React JS, Pictale, Filmmaking (CineSaga), Small Action Big Impact, Poster Roulette, and more.
The entertainment quotient soared with DJ Lil B setting the dance floor ablaze on the opening night. On the second day, Snigdhajit Bhowmik, The Voice India runner-up, mesmerized the crowd with his mix of folk and Bollywood hits, keeping everyone on their feet. The grand finale on March 7 witnessed an unforgettable performance by Asees Kaur, who enchanted the audience with her chart-topping Bollywood tracks, making it a night to remember.
