Seminar on Drug Abuse Awareness

Amity Law School at Amity University Kolkata, in collaboration with the West Bengal State Legal Services Authority (SLSA), organized a seminar on Drug Abuse Awareness. Registrar Dr Amrita Saha attended this event on behalf of Amity University Kolkata, and she was felicitated with a sapling by the interns of SLSA.

The event featured Miss Niketha Mathur, Psychiatric Social Work Trainee, SSKM Hospital, and Advocate Mit Guha Roy from the Calcutta High Court. Ms Mathur, in the address to the attendees, discussed the social impact of drug abuse and the role of family and society in counselling addicts. The students of BA/ BCom/ BBA and LLB (Semester 2) and the faculty of Law Schools participated in the interactive session, with student volunteers ensuring its success.
