During World Heritage Week 2023, Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism in Kolkata went on an engaging Heritage Walk. The students visited several significant sites of Kolkata’s cultural heritage, including the Treasury Office, Town Hall, Calcutta High Court, Raj Bhavan, and St. John's Church, under the supervision of Mr. Samik Ray, a distinguished regional tour guide and a national awardee. The conversation on placing the historical narrative with the British colonial era in context was enlightening. The instructional tour around the streets of the City of Joy was enjoyable as well as informative.
