DETAILS ABOUT GRAND FINALE

1. Preparedness for the Grand Finale

To ensure that all teams are fully prepared for the Grand Finale, participants are required to fill the Preparedness Form regarding:

  • LiDAR usage
  • Tool readiness
  • Mentorship requirements

We have received responses from a few teams. Those who have already filled the form may please ignore this message. All other teams are requested to submit the form at the earliest, no later than 15 January 2026.

Important: Non-receipt of the response will be considered as absence from the Grand Finale.

2. Submission of Prototype Demonstration Video

As we move closer to the Grand Finale of Riverathon, it is time for the Intermediate Prototype Submission, which will serve as the final gateway to the ultimate round.

All shortlisted teams must submit a Prototype Demonstration Video covering the following:

  • Your concept and problem statement
  • Use of LiDAR dataset (please specify the region)
  • Details of the platform used for development
  • Early results, visualizations, or workflows
  • Pending work to be completed for the final hackathon

Video Requirements

  • Duration: 3–5 minutes
  • Format: MP4 file or YouTube (Unlisted link)
  • Video must clearly show screens, prototype, workflow, and outcomes
  • Must include team name, team members’ names, and hackathon theme

Submission Deadline: 10 January 2026

The link for uploading the video will be shared shortly. Please keep checking the Riverathon website for updates.

3. Travel Allowance and Accommodation Details

a. Travel Information

  • Participants must make their own travel arrangements to the hackathon venue.
  • Participants are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned in the event schedule (to be shared shortly).

b. Travelling Allowance (TA)

Mode of Travel:

  • Reimbursement limited to Third AC train fare or Volvo bus fare.
  • TA will be restricted to 50% of the actual Third AC fare or ₹3,000 (whichever is lower) per participant for to-and-fro journey.
  • Reimbursement will be admissible only upon submission of valid proof of travel.

Local Transport:

  • Local conveyance charges up to ₹500 per person will be admissible based on actual documents.

Documentation Required:

  • Participants must submit hard copies of travel tickets for TA claims.
  • Soft copies will not be accepted.

Payment Details (Mandatory):

  • Name of the Bank
  • Type of Account
  • Account Number
  • Branch Code
  • IFSC Code

Note: TA/DA payments will be processed only via NEFT.

c. Accommodation Information

  • Accommodation will be provided only to participants who have already submitted their willingness through the earlier circulated form.

d. Important Notes

  • Please carry a valid government-issued ID and student ID card for verification.
  • All participants must strictly adhere to event guidelines and venue rules.
