Amispark serves as an inter-institutional techno-cultural festival designed to fuel the creative spirits of students with a diverse array of contests including singing, dancing, fashion shows, exhibitions, and the notable 'Kavyavani'—the Poetry Competition. It aims to ignite the inner zeal of students, providing a vibrant stage to display their talents across various disciplines.

The Amity School of Communication sparks creativity with its 'AD-Mad show' and 'Fake News Anchoring' events, while the Amity Law School challenges minds through a 'Know Your Country' quiz and a 'Band Competition'. Annual Sports Meet: Sangathan

Sangathan, the annual inter-institutional sports meet, offers a platform for all Amity students to showcase their sporting talents and develop essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, responsibility, and discipline. Celebrated across global Amity campuses, this month-long event peaks with the Founder’s Day celebrations, in tribute to Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, the founder president of Amity Universe. The event kicks off with the hoisting of the Sangathan Flag and features a grand parade of over 5,000 students. Participants vie for top honors in 35 varied sports, including badminton, squash, basketball, volleyball, karate, judo, cricket, chess, swimming, and tug of war. The event is also a cultural showcase, with performances representing India's diverse regional traditions.

Community Outreach Activity

Amity University Chhattisgarh emphasizes the cultivation of values, ethics, and social responsibility through its Human Values Quarter. ASFT students actively participate in a range of outreach activities, including blood donation drives, visits to elderly homes, facilities for children with special needs, and orphanages. AIBAS prioritizes hands-on, results-driven education for its students. Through organized field trips, students gain insights into the unique requirements of individuals with special needs, including those with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, OCD, and Schizophrenia, along with current and historical psychological trends. Additionally, AIBAS hosts workshops and training programs to delve into Art-Based Therapy's fundamental principles within counselling psychology. These sessions also cover essential knowledge about community-impacting factors and the beneficial role of this therapy.

Management Club

Mental Wellness Club: The Mental Wellness Club at AIBAS, AUC, is dedicated to fostering positive mental health and increasing awareness and education about mental wellbeing within the university community. As a student-led initiative, the club aims to support peers, enhance mental health awareness, educate the wider campus, and serve as a link to mental health resources in the broader community. It provides a welcoming environment for students to lead and participate in discussions and activities related to mental health and wellness, promoting a stigma-free conversation space. This club offers a valuable chance for students to deepen their understanding of mental health issues and practices. By ensuring that all members of the AUC community have access to resources and support for maintaining good mental health, the club contributes to the overall success and wellbeing of its students and staff.

  • Adopt A Tree: Recognizing the importance of not just planting new trees but also nurturing existing ones, AIBAS students have committed to caring for at least two plants throughout their time at AUC. Each student has pledged to actively participate in this environmental stewardship project, promising to regularly tend to and support their assigned plants. Additionally, they are dedicated to engaging in further actions to enhance their local environment through sustainable practices. This initiative underscores AIBAS students' commitment to contributing positively to their surroundings by embracing environmentally friendly habits.

  • Awareness Camp: At our Mental Health Awareness Camp, we focus on fostering social skills and instilling a sense of social responsibility in students, emphasizing the crucial role of mental wellness in adolescent development. During a special session titled "Healthy Mind, Healthy Body" at the Government Higher Secondary School in Saragaon, Raipur, students from AIBAS took the lead in conducting an educational camp. This event was dedicated to teaching the students about the importance of self-understanding, particularly in the areas of self-esteem and self-confidence.
  • To further enrich the learning experience, a psychological assessment centered on the Locus of Control was carried out, providing students with valuable insights into how perceptions of control can influence one's mental health. Additionally, AIBAS students staged a Nukkad Natak (street theatre) focused on "Self-awareness," offering the students of the Government Higher Secondary School in Saragaon a deeper understanding of self-awareness, its significance, and its transformative impact on individual growth. Through this initiative, we aim to equip young individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for fostering a healthy and well-balanced life.

  • Old Age Home Visit: This experience provides students with a unique learning opportunity beyond traditional classroom settings, offering them a real-world perspective on the later stages of life.   • Visit to Akansha-School for Special Children: This visit is designed to educate students about the diverse approaches employed in modifying the behaviour of children with special needs. It aims to enhance their understanding of the specialized strategies and interventions that support the development and well-being of these children.
  • Health Education Outreach at Mudhpar Village, Kharora (28th April 2022): Aimed at enriching the rural communities' understanding of personal, environmental, psychological, and societal health, this camp seeks to enhance the overall well-being of society. Conducted as part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan initiative, the program fosters interactions with rural populations to elevate their health literacy and promote holistic health encompassing physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects.
