At Amity School of Architecture and Planning (ASAP), we believe in the holistic development of our students, achieved not only through academic excellence but also through active participation in extracurricular activities. Students engage in various competitions, workshops, and events such as the National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA), which contribute to their all-rounded growth.

Our vibrant campus life is enhanced by a plethora of activities including sports and cultural events. Annual events like Sangathan and Amispark not only provide a platform for showcasing talent but also promote inter-university collaboration and cultural exchange. These activities are integral to developing key skills in our students—communication, organization, and teamwork—preparing them for professional and personal success.

The diverse community at ASAP encourages students from various backgrounds to interact, embrace different cultures, and evolve into global-minded professionals. This dynamic environment ensures that every day on campus is an opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy making it an enriching experience for all.

Amispark: The Techno-Cultural Fest at ASAP

Amispark, our annual two-day techno-cultural fest, stands as a highlight for the students at Amity School of Architecture and Planning. Renowned for its unique flair, Amispark is hosted on the Amity University Chhattisgarh campus and features an array of events that showcase the creativity and skill of our students.

A centerpiece of Amispark is the Architecture Exhibition, which provides a platform for students to bring their innovative concepts to life. Each year revolves around a new theme that challenges students to push the boundaries of their imagination. For instance, the 2020 exhibition, themed 'Space-Tacular', featured works focused on Vernacular and Futuristic architecture, including:

Civilization on Mars: First-semester students explored potential Martian settlements.

Vernacular Heritage of India: Interior Design students created hands-on projects celebrating traditional Indian architecture.

Technical Sections: Students presented their studio work, highlighting the conceptualization and execution of innovative design ideas.

Amispark goes beyond just an exhibition; it's a celebration of culture and creativity. Students reveal their artistic talents and engage in festivities like DJ nights, providing both fun and an opportunity for cultural enrichment. This fest not only fosters creativity among ASAP students but also invites participation from other institutions across the state, promoting a broader cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.

Industry Interactions at ASAP

At ASAP, we emphasize the importance of real-world industry exposure for our students. Through a series of workshops and guest lectures, we bring in renowned industry experts to share their knowledge and insights. This direct interaction with professionals not only enriches the learning experience but also aligns with our school's educational philosophy, continually strengthened by expert feedback.

Corporate Connect Program

Our curriculum incorporates mandatory internships, placing students with esteemed architects and designers for a full semester. These internships are crucial for understanding the dynamics and professional practices within architectural firms, giving our students a significant advantage in their future careers.

Sangathan: The Sports Meet

ASAP is not just about academic excellence but also celebrates the athletic prowess of our students. Our annual sports meet, Sangathan, sees students competing in various sports, including Volleyball, Basketball, Carrom, Chess, and Table Tennis. Participating against other schools and institutions, ASAP students have consistently excelled, bringing home numerous accolades, and fostering a spirit of healthy competition and team spirit.
