About The Institute

With the mission of creating world class educational infrastructure and a world of knowledge par excellence, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) was founded by Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Chairman and CEO of AKC group of companies.The RBEF umbrella nurtures various institutions of the Amity Universe, one of them being Amity University, Uttar Pradesh. Amity Institute of Behavioural and Allied Sciences (AIBAS) is a department of Amity University. RBEF established Department of Education, Amity Institute of Behavioural and Allied Sciences (AIBAS), Noida in 2003 as a part of Amity Universe with the ultimate aim of providing excellent professional training to the prospective school teachers in whose hands the future of our nation lies.

Amity Institute of Behavioural and Allied Sciences, Noida is recognised by NCTE . The department goes beyond the prescribed curriculum to ensure all round development of the teacher trainees. All students of Amity University receive value addition through : 
  (i)Behavioural Science : for developing holistic personality of the individual 
(ii)Communicative English : for enhancing communication skills in personal and professional contexts
(iii)Military Training Camp : to develop confidence and generate spirit of patriotism, commitment and perseverance among the trainees.

Mission

To provide teacher education at secondary and elementary level in the current perspective of teaching learning trends in the futuristic and emerging frontier areas of education, teacher education learning and research to develop the overall personality of students by making them not only excellent teachers but also good individuals with understanding and regard for human values, pride for heritage and culture, sense of right and wrong and striving for perfection and to imbibe attributes of courage of conviction and action.

Chauhan, visionary leader and Founder President of the Amity Education Group.
