01. Where is the Amity New York campus located?

We are located at 1 Campus Rd Staten Island N.Y. 1. It offers an amazing wealth of experiences and entertainment, the variety of which cannot be found elsewhere. Manhattan is just a 25 minute ride away on the free Staten Island Ferry.

The campus offers breathtaking views of New York Harbor, and makes for a great place to live and study. Were it not part of New York City, Staten Island would be among America's larger cities, and it is home to many restaurants, movies, shops and cultural activities.

02. What are the programs offered?

. MBA (Full time)

Duration: 18 months (One semester in India and 2 Semesters in USA)


During the first six months in India, the students will be undergoing an extensive Internship for 210 hours at Amity India along with two elective subjects from the field of Business Administration.

The transcripts of these courses need to be authenticated by the students from World Education Services (WES). This would give the students an advanced entry into Wagner where they would be undergoing 2 semesters for the award of MBA degree.

The programs will be very experiential based and study tours to top companies will be organized by the Amity faculty and staff.

05. What is the Unique advantage of AGBS New York?

Amity Global Business School in association with Wagner is offering the unique Capstone Simulation program, where the students would run a virtual company over an 8 year period that manufactures electronic sensors. They will be required to manage every aspect of this large corporation.

06. What will be the cost of the entire program?

One semester in Indian and two semesters in US – USD 30, 000/-

07. What will be my possible expenses during my program?

You are required to pay for accommodation, food, insurance, travel and living expenses, including text books and study materials. It would vary according to spending habits of an individual. Normally it is to the tune of 800 – 1000 USD per month.

08. What degree would be awarded for these programs? Is that degree accredited?

Students will be awarded degrees from Wagner College, a 117 year old Institute (established in 1883) with which Amity Global Business School has a strategic partnership.

Wagner College is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools (ACBSP) a internationally recognized accrediting agency.

09. Documentation required after being selected for the course?

a) One official transcript/equivalency certificate/ other documentation to prove high school graduation or its equivalent duly notarized.
b) One passport size photograph.
c) Photocopy of the passport duly notarized
d) A student's declaration of finances (SDF) form and / or sponsor's affidavit of support form with a bank statement or a verification letter from an officer of the bank or other financial institution giving the present balance, with must equal or exceed the amount required for one year of study.

10. How do I handle my money matters when at New York?

Carrying a traveler's check is advisable. You can also transact through ATM cards. Visa and MasterCard are also accepted at maximum places.

11. Can I open a bank account in New York?

In order to open a US bank account, you will need your passport, a letter from the institution confirming that you are a student and a document confirming your address in US (for example a contract for accommodation). It is also helpful to bring information about your bank account(s) and evidence of your address in your home country

12. Tell me about working in the US after graduation?

USA Student Visa provides the bridge to institutions that can get you working legally in the United States. There are several types of temporary work visas, including H-1B, H-2B, H-3, E-1, E-2, E-3 and L-1. Those who wish to live in the United States permanently should apply for a Green Card. 13. What is the preparation required on my end for getting enrolled in the program?

Fill in your application form and gather all the documents related to traveling abroad viz. Passport, visa clearance etc. It is also of importance to thoroughly study the country before leaving.

15. Do I need to know English as a language?

The TOEFL is required of undergraduate international applicants. The minimum score is a 217 on the computer test, (or a 550 on the paper test), to waive our English language requirement

16. Do I need to carry my laptop?

All students are provided with a wireless laptop to access internet from anywhere, anytime.
