Infrastructure & Facilities

The facilities and infrastructure of the institute complement its academic ecosystem. The institute’s classrooms, laboratories, library and seminar hall serve, support and enhance the teaching-learning process.

Classrooms

The classrooms are where students spend most of their time. All classrooms and labs at AIIT are air-conditioned to facilitate long hours of learning through classroom teaching and group discussions. Classrooms are also wi-fi enabled, so that the students can make optimum use of online learning resources, whenever required.

Computer Labs

The well-equipped computer labs at AIIT have computers with the latest configuration. It has all software required by AIIT students during their course. Software related to Programming, Databases, Networking, and Web Technologies are used by students to implement whatever is taught to them in the classroom. Students can access software like MATLAB and ‘R’, used for data analysis and modelling in computer labs. AIIT has two dedicated labs besides the central labs. Computers in all labs, including AIIT labs, provide internet access with the help of broadband radio links and ISDN line backup.

Library

A good library is the heart of any academic institution, and so is at Amity University. The repository is equipped with books, magazines, national and international journals for reference of students of AIIT. Library is designed to provide a comfortable and user-friendly environment to enable learning. It provides an ambience that promotes learning beyond classrooms.

Auditorium

A state-of-the-art auditorium with a seating capacity of 610 is a part of the ultra-modern infrastructure at Amity University. The Seminar Halls are equipped with advanced technology with state-of-the-art audio-visual and presentation tools to facilitate smooth presentations and demonstrations.
