Since inception in 2007, Amity Institute of Biotechnology (AIB) has a sharp vision and mission to impart world class knowledge in the field of Biotechnology. It is believed to be one of the most emerging branches which have a representation of all fields of science and have the capacity to solve problems of day-to-day life. It has applications in medical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, agriculture, information technology and climate change. In the past two decades, there was a paradigm shift in science with advances in genomics, proteomics, nanotechnology, molecular biology, and Bioinformatics. Here at Amity Institute of Biotechnology we have a dedicated team of faculty members which specialize in all advanced field of biotechnology and provides a base for holistic development of the student. Our faculties and students have achieved several recognitions at National and International level, which is represented in their science projects, publications, awards, and fellowships. Our alumni are our strength as many of them are working at world renowned institutes like Oxford University, UK, RMIT Australia, Brown University USA. AIB has collaborated with CIMMYT-Mexico, RMIT University, Melbourne Australia, Flinders University, Adelaide Australia, National Institute of Material Science, Japan, University of Lisbon, Portugal, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The training imparted at AIB provides a platform for a competitive edge in their professional pursuit. The training and education students with life skills, which make them not just job seekers, but also job creators.
