Prof. Soumitra Dutta is Peter Moores Dean and Professor of Management, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Fellow of Balliol College, Oxford.

Before joining the School in 2022, he was Professor of Management and the former founding Dean of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University, New York. Previously, he was the Anne and Elmer Lindseth Dean of the Johnson Graduate School of Management (Cornell University) and a Deputy Dean at INSEAD.

Soumitra is the Chair of the Board of the Global Business School and is on the advisory boards of several business schools including HEC Montréal (Canada), Centrum Catholica (Peru), University of Los Andes (Colombia), and ESADE (Spain). Previously he was the Vice Chair and Chair of AACSB International, the leading accreditation body for business schools worldwide.

Dr. Joyjit Chatterjee

Dr. Joyjit Chatterjee is a Data Scientist (KTP Associate), working on an Innovate UK project with the multinational consumer goods company - Reckitt Benckiser Group plc and the University of Hull UK. His research has contributed to developing data-driven solutions for explainable and intelligent decision support in operations & maintenance of wind turbines. He was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe his impactful work on developing AI products that can bolster energy and manufacturing processes. Dr. Chatterjee holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Hull and is a B.Tech ECE (Gold Medallist) alumnus of Amity University, Noida. He also received the Green Talents Award from the German government recognizing his outstanding contributions to sustainability research. He has been endorsed as a Global Talent by UKRI and the UK Home Office. He has published several papers in AI and wind energy (including in leading A*/A ranked AI conferences and reputed wind energy journals, being a top-cited author). Dr. Chatterjee has received multiple other awards and grants e.g. from Microsoft Research, IEEE etc. recognising his work and has been a visiting researcher at University of Bremen, Germany and Tamkang University, Taiwan. His research has received significant press/media exposure and was also featured in the Nudge Global Impact Challenge.
