Dr Ujjaini Dasgupta Attempts To Decode The Intricacies Of Sphingolipid Signalling In Tumor Progression Using Multidisciplinary Approaches Including Lipidomics, Transcriptomics, Molecular Biology, And Bioinformatics. She And Her Group Are Interested In Studying Epigenetic, Transcriptional And Post-Transcriptional Mechanisms Regulating Diverse Signalling Pathways During Tumor Development, And Those Targeting The Tumor Microenvironment In Response To Cancer Chemotherapeutics (Acs Central Sci, 2019; Nanoscale, 2020, 2021; Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2021, Sci. Adv. 2023). In Collaboration With Clinicians We Also Work With Patient Samples With The Objective To Identify Sphingolipid-Based Prognostic And Diagnostic Biomarkers That Can Have Therapeutic Potential As Well (Cell Death Dis. 2021; Int. J. Cancer. 2023).
