• Delhi Times Fashion Week (DTFW), presented by Obello Life, powered by DANJ Entertainment and co-powered by Cantabil, showcased all things pretty at The Grand, New Delhi. AMITY UNIVERSITY GURUGRAM along with students from Amity University Uttar Pradesh showcased its collection at Delhi Times Fashion week. 9 Student Designer from AUG showcased 21 garments. The students showcased designs on themes such as Sustainable clothing, Innovative designs, and Shades of India.Each piece was uniquely conceptualized, using intricate & beautiful prints inspired by nature and traditional Indian art forms such as eco hammer printing, Block printing & embroidery. Ms. Thounaojam Strela Luwang, Miss India 2023 2nd runner was the showstopper for the Event. 25 students participated as Volunteers for the Show.

Two students from ASFDT, Mr. Aryan Sharma & Ms Nidhi Panjiyar were awarded Merit-cum-Means Scholarships of Rs. 25,000/- by TAI-Delhi and sponsored by Textile Association of India (Delhi) & M/s D’Decor respectively.

The Cheque towards the scholarship amount was awarded to students during a Felicitation function organized by TAI – Delhi. Honorable Industrialists & Individuals who sponsored these Scholarship Awards also graced the occasion with their benign presence.

 

  • Surbhi Malhotra (B.Sc. FD&T) received Scholarship for Academic excellence from TAI (Textile Association of India) on 26th October 2015 at National Textile Conference held in PHD Chamber of Commerce.
  • Jyotica Yadav (B.Des FD) received Scholarship for Academic excellence from Mr Sanjay Jain, MD TT Group at the Yarn, Fabric & Accessories Trade Show 2016 held at the NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla.
  • Kanika Thakran (B.Des. FD) received Scholarship for Academic excellence from Mr J.P. Saria, Saria Charitable Trust at the Yarn, Fabric & Accessories Trade Show 2016 held at the NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla.
  • Bibhu Ranjan Mohanty (BFA 2019-23) received National award (3rd Position) for Dance performance from National youth parliament 2016 at Hyderabad, Government of India.
  • Bibhu Ranjan Mohanty (BFA 2019-23) received 1st position for his art in chief Minister trophy "Prativa puraskaar" 2016. Organized by Govt. of odisha, Ministry of culture with collaboration of Odisha lalit kala academy.
  • Bibhu Ranjan Mohanty received 1st position in folk dance, National inter college youth fest 2020 organized by Amity university Uttar-Pradesh, Noida
  • Chinmaya Ligi kumar (BFA 2019-23 ) received 1st Award in Art Competition at The green Olympiad 2019 UNESCO united nation Education,scientific and cultural organization, Organized by Ministry of Environment forest &climate change ,government of India, New Delhi

  • Aarti Mathur (BFA 2017-21) received second award in National level art contest Organized by art wali gali, New Delhi.
