The goal of Personality Development Program (PDP) is to provide students with a deeper understanding of how to strike a balance between readiness for the workplace and self-awareness, empowering them to navigate their professional lives effectively.

The philosophy of this program is ‘Knowing oneself is half the battle won.’

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are imparted to the students which are crucial to increase employment opportunities and to compete successfully in the business environment.

The soft skill training provides strong practical orientation to the students and helps them in building and improving their communication skills, the effective use of English language, business correspondence, presentations, team building, time management, and leadership skills, group discussions, personal interviews, and inter-personal relationship skills.

A vital component of the course curriculum focuses on bolstering students' confidence, enabling them to excel in interviews and group discussions.

101 Attributes of an Amitian

The educational framework at Amity is built upon foundational values and ethics, emphasizing principles such as patriotism, courage, and respect for elders. This ethos has inspired the development of the '101 Attributes of an Amitian'.

This booklet elucidates 101 distinct character traits aimed at nurturing holistic individuals. These attributes are integrated into teaching and group activities, as well as topics for lectures and discussions among students.

Throughout Amity institutions, the 'Human Values Quarter' is commemorated, featuring a diverse range of events designed to promote awareness of the significance of human values.

Counselling

Expert Personal & Professional Advice

At Amity, the distinctive Mentor-Mentee concept fosters ongoing interaction between faculty and students. Each faculty member is assigned a group of 8-10 students, offering guidance and support on academic and personal concerns.

This experience cultivates students' confidence, empowering them to thrive in the corporate realm. Furthermore, Amity provides a comprehensive Counseling and Guidance Center to assist students facing personal or emotional challenges.
