Arvind .P. Bhanu
Dr. Bhanu has been working in the field of law for more than two decades and has held several positions at various institutes, ascending from Assistant Professor to Principal and Head. He also served as Professor of Law with deep interest in legal research and Acting Director of Amity School of Law, Delhi (ALSD) - one of India's top five law schools. Currently, Dr. Bhanu is working as Professor of Law and Research, and Additional Director at ALSN, Amity University, Noida.
Dr. Bhanu specializes in the Law of Crimes and Constitutional Law and has his doctoral dissertation degree in the area of specialization from A. M. U. Aligarh. Furthermore, he holds a UGC (NET) qualification in law, a master’s degree in economics and PGDLLR. His extensive research contributions encompass a collection of 140 publications across a diverse range of legal issues. These publications are featured in prestigious International and National journals, digital platforms, and books. Notably, his work has been found a place in Flagship US Law Reviews, as well as in publications by Edward Elgar (EE), UK, Springer and in journals indexed by SCOPUS, WoS (Web of Science) and UCG listed Journals etc. His published work may be seen in digital library of foreign Universities in USA and Australia. His rich experience extends to supervising Masters' and Doctoral dissertations, cementing his position as a mentor and guide in academia. As editor of UGC listed journal, co-editors, and advisory board member of reputed various National legal journals, further demonstrate his expertise and commitment to the research field of law. Adding to, he has been a columnist for a renowned national magazine 'LAWZ' for over a year. His research interests are centered around Constitutional Law and Law of Crimes, highlighting his dedication to exploring and contributing to these pivotal areas.
Going beyond his publications, Dr. Bhanu has been an active participant, presenter of research work at national and international conferences, organizer of conferences/seminars, workshops, FDPs, Moot Courts and Legal Debates etc. He has chaired many technical sessions in conferences of global repute, delivered lectures at the national level, and has been invited as a keynote speaker and resource person in conferences and refresher courses organized by UGC-HRDC. The Doordarshan- a Television National Channel invites Dr. Bhanu to share his views on legal issues. Dr. Bhanu is on the panel list of examiners for doctoral research in various Universities, Judicial Service Examinations, and Public Service Commission. Dr. Bhanu has been bestowed with scholarly awards including Best Teacher Award for the year 2017.
Priyanka Ghai
Dr. Ghai is an Assistant Professor (senior grade) at Amity Law School Noida, AUUP. She has over a decade of teaching and research experience. After completing her Masters in Law from National Law University Delhi, Dr. Ghai remained involved in teaching, training and research whereby brought forth the significant issues relating to the protection of child rights, human rights and various issues connecting to the constitutional law. The title of her PhD thesis is “The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2016: A Critical Study of Educational Issues in a Constitutional Perspective”.
Dr. Ghai has authored research papers which have been published in SCOPUS, WoS indexed journals and UGC- Care listed journals. She has also participated, presented research papers and invited as resource person to National and International conferences. Dr. Ghai has organized various conferences, webinars in collaboration with the National Commission of Women (NCW), workshops, training programmes, ADR and other legal debate competitions etc. She has also been invited to judge various National and International Moot-Court Competitions. Dr. Ghai is on the panel of external examiners for Dissertation evaluation in Law Colleges and Universities.
Dr. Ghai specializes in Constitutional Law and Human Rights. She has developed her interest in the field of educational issues of child labour and has come out with workable suggestions. Dr. Ghai has been on the Panel of various advisory boards of reputed journals and international conferences, symposiums etc. At present among other leading roles, she is an Associate Research Co-ordinator for promoting research in Law School and heading another Research Publication committee of NTCC (Dissertation of law graduate and postgraduate students)
