SHOOTING

Shooting as a sport has been included in co-curricular activities.

Shooting is a sport combining nerves of steel with precision aiming at a target of some kind, whether it be stationary or moving, animal or artificial, or indoors or outdoors.

Shooting sports are varied, from the type of shooting that incurs the wrath of the anti-blood sports lobby, to the target-style shooting seen in the Olympics. Although the skills required are similar in many respects, each type of shooting discipline requires specialist skills that are honed to match that sport.

GYMNASTICS

Gymnastics is a very important sport and children of AIS, Vasundhara can avail this facility as Gymnastic as a sport and activity has been introduced.

Gymnastics is the mother of all sports and also a competitive sports for both men & women in which participants demonstrate body control over a wide range of acrobatic exercises and other movements. Gymnastics must develop balance, endurance, flexibility and strength. Gymnastics may also be a recreational or educational activity.

SCULPTURE

Teaching of sculpture is a way of actively is a way of actively promoting ambition and by encouraging students to search for their own unique vision to research and refine their ideas in depth. In addition, students will become profoundly aware of the wider cultural background & the changes taking place in it and will be able to place their own work in a global context.

The aim is to enable individual students to pursue personal research and to find appropriate means of manifesting their ideas and to produce personal satisfaction within the child. Besides that children will have confidence in their ability to express themselves effectively with art materials.
