Director's Message

The dual challenges of understanding the nature of leadership development and implementing effective leadership development practices will likely be greater than ever before. Leadership development practices will need to be integrated in the broader context of organisational challenges and systems, and the kinds of behaviors desired in those leaders. Leadership development efforts and initiatives must be ongoing and not a single program or event.

In the current scenario most organizations will not need the 'high flyer' individual type of leader as much as a leader who can motivate and coordinate a team based approach. The mode of effective leadership in the future will be one of encouraging environments that unlock the entire organizations human asset potential. The Amity Institute of Leadership and Communication will facilitate the development of leaders at all levels. We could even design programs for individual companies after assessing organisational needs. In fact we would like to enable development of leaders by getting feed back from their parent organizations. We firmly believe that good leadership is the 'Force Multiplier' of organizations and business across the complete spectrum of human activity.
