About Online Refresher Course:

Concept: The aim of this refresher course is to promote research aspects in different Science subjects for interdisciplanery research. The refresher course will start with an overview of forensic science, physics, chemistry, life sciences, intellectual property right, copyright, patents, research ethics, synopsis and research project writing, etc. This aspectswill help the audience to understand importance of these areas in real life scenarios. This refresher course is planned for 15 days into three parts: live sessions, quiz and weekend assignments. The live session part of the refresher course will focus on the most challenging contemporary issues in sciences and technology and extend the knowledge of subjects. After each session, assessment and feedback session will be conducted where importantquestions from the current session will ask with participants helping identify about their attention during the refresher course and interpretate outcome on daily basis. The sessions of this refresher course shall be conducted by the team of eminent academicians & industry experts possessing in-depth knowledge in the area ofForensic Science, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Intellectual Property Rights, Patents, etc. It will consist of a series of lectures and discussion sessions. 

Objectives of the Refresher Course

  • The participants would be able to comprehend real time challenges and assimilate research ideas to strengthen interdisciplinary research and teaching.
  • To discuss recent advancements in science & technology.
  • To provide discussion session in research ethics and intellectual property rights related issues.
  • To present an insight of interdisciplinary research and teaching as a global issue and instilling research ideas that are of benefit to all round the globe.

The Laboratory coordinates develop and disseminate new information to investigators and fraternity members of the Law Administration Agency through innovative scientific techniques to resolve the conventional and new pattern of crime. In addition, the Laboratory is requested to assist in the scientific investigations of crime scenes, provide training and sharing knowledge and assist with the reconstruction of a crime. The Laboratory prepares the forensic report for valuable evidence that contributes to the successful prosecution and conviction of criminals as well as to the exoneration of innocent people. With up-to-date technical, and knowledge features, as well as a space point of view, the Laboratory can expect to be accepted globally with a facility equal to the quality of work for which the Laboratory has become known. The Laboratory is also notified as Examiner of Electronic Evidence u/s 79A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 on 17.04.2018. by the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Govt of India.
