AFSTIA has been proactively participating in events like SCI-RoI (Science & Research Opportunities in India) for Indian researchers in the USA, Germany, Israel, etc., and similar events with an aim to attract scientific talents to Amity Universe.
Highly prestigious GOI fellowship schemes such as Ramalingaswamy (DBT), Ramanujan (DST), Inspire Faculty (DST), Wellcome Trust ECF (DBT/India Alliance), etc. have created an excellent opportunity for Indian researchers to return to India.
Dozens of fellows with prestigious fellowships have chosen Amity as the Host Institution for pursuing their research activities.
To evaluate these meritorious researchers and their suitability with Amity’s Vision, AFSTIA has been spotting such talents through a global search and connecting them with research mentors at different Amity Universities – in Noida, Lucknow, Kolkata, Manesar, Mumbai, Jharkhand, Jaipur, Mohali, Patna, and Chattisgarh. The entire effort is justifying Mission B4 -Bringing Bright and Brilliant Brains.
The year 2021 (January – October) witnessed more than 35 AFSTIA webinars with 28 young fellows, which paved the way for the joining of more than 20 PhD research scholars with national fellowships to Amity as the research brain pool.
