To further strengthen these visionary ideas, Honourable Founder President, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan has created Mission B4: Bringing Bright & Brilliant Brains, under the umbrella of AFSTIA at Amity Universe.
AFSTIA has been proactively participating in events like SCI-RoI (Science & Research Opportunities in India) for Indian Research Scholars in USA and similar events with an aim to attract scientific talents to Amity Universe.
Highly prestigious GOI fellowship schemes such as Welcome Trust India Alliance (DBT), Ramalingaswami (DBT), Ramanujan (DST), Inspire Faculty (DST) have created excellent opportunities for Indian researchers to return to India.
To evaluate these meritorious research scholars and their suitability with Amity’s Vision, AFSTIA has been spotting such talents through a global search and connecting them with research mentors at different Amity Institutions – in Noida, Lucknow, Kolkata, Haryana, Mumbai etc. The entire effort is justifying the B4 Mission: Bring Best Bright Brilliant Minds
We have more than 30 talented Bright & Brilliant Brains from different places across the globe who have received these prestigious fellowships. Also, the highly qualified Bright Brains are mentoring more than 76 blooming brains who are pursuing their Ph.D. with prestigious national fellowships.
These fellows have also been able to contribute significantly to the improvement of the Research & Innovation index of Amity, which in turn played an important role for Amity, Noida securing 25th position as NIRF Ranking.
