The covid-19 pandemic changed the world panorama. The post-covid pandemic world realises and recognizes the importance of health care professionals and hospital administrators more than ever before. India is one of most populous country in the world with more than 1.4 billion people. The Government of India has initiated many schemes and programs to prevent diseases and provide healthcare services to all segments of the population like Ayushman Bharat Scheme, Digital India, National Health Portal, Emergency Trauma Care Services, National Health Programs etc. in addition to extensive public healthcare infrastructure. The need to manage these public healthcare institutions has created a big scope for healthcare managers in public sector. Amid the mixed pattern of diseases in the country, the re-emergence of traditional and age-old alternative system of medicines for lifestyle disorders needs to be managed professionally. Additionally, the silent epidemic of mental health illnesses is developing into global health emergency needs urgent attention of public health managers. The technology is revolutionizing the world with fastest ever pace of changes. Healthcare sector is the last but not the least to be revolutionized by technology. The digitalization of healthcare records, logistics and delivery is backed up by latest communication technology & Block chain technology for data security. Tele-diagnostic & therapeutic services, Genetic testing, preventive and predictive healthcare services, Electronic Health Records, Robotic surgery, M-Health, Health Gadgets & apps, 3-D printing for medical devices & implements, big data analytics and home healthcare are some of the latest developments in healthcare landscape. Artificial Intelligence is predicted to be big disruptive technology to impact all walks of life including healthcare sector. All these and other technologies not only promise us to improve the access to healthcare but also help us to ensure equity in healthcare. Equitable access to healthcare facilities is an essential ingredient of right to health, one of the humans right and derived fundamental right enshrined in our constitution.

The real challenge is to keep abreast with changing paradigms and train the professionals to lead the futuristic healthcare landscape. In our Institute we are exposing our students with lots of expert’s guest lectures, industrial visits, workshops, conferences, exhibitions and medical fair and hands-on experience through industrial projects etc. The budding health care managers are engaged with designing newsletters, writing research papers, taking interviews of reputable authorities in the healthcare and education sector, organizing events, celebrating Health days & participating in national and international events. Research is an integral part of our Institute's mission. Our faculty is actively involved in ground-breaking research, helping to advance the field of health & hospital administration. Research and innovation have become the second nature of our students. We work in close collaboration with prominent national and international healthcare and funding agencies.
