Ph.D. (Defence & Strategic Studies) – Part Time

The institute offers both full time and part time Ph.D. programmes. The distinct feature of AIDSS Ph.D. programme is the large number of Co-Guides from the Indian Armed Forces, Police & Para-Military Forces and Industry; well versed in both strategic as well as methodological issues.

For those research scholars who have to attend the course work, our Student Research Committees facilitate the interaction in the required domains.

In case some of the serving officers from the Military/ Police/ Para-Military Forces enrolled as research scholars are unable to attend to the course work by being physically present; the institution proposes to use Industry 4.0 by conducting virtual classrooms.

The Departmental Research Committee (DRC) & the Board of Studies (BOS) have high-profile representations from the academic field as well as industry to guide the AIDSS in its pursuit of excellence.
