About Us

Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) is one of the premier centre of excellence for higher education, training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in Amity University. Further, Amity University has been ranked amongst the Top 3% Universities globally as per QS University Ranking released on 6th June 2018. The School has more than 280 faculty members, 100 support staff & over 5200 students. Our infrastructure is supported by 118 fully equipped laboratories. At ASET there is a strong relation between the academia represented by students and faculty, and the corporate world. The purpose is to initiate continuous interaction with the industry, sharing the industry experiences, understanding industry needs and providing the required support to the corporate world, as well as opportunities to students to work in alliance with Industry. Recent successes in the category are 10th international conference on Cloud System and Data Science & Engineering (CONFLUENCE 2020), 7th international conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN 2020) and 3rd international conference on Recent Development in Control, Automation & Power Engineering (RDCAPE 2019).
About the Conference
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, INDIA is organizing the 4thInternational Conference on Recent Developments in Control, Automation & Power Engineering (RDCAPE-2021). The conference aims to bring together academicians, scientists, industrialists, and researchers under one roof for the discussion on recent developments in the field of power, control & automation engineering. The conference intends to discuss issues related to new challenges of renewable energy, new control paradigms for efficient automation and decentralized power systems, new economics of open auction-based electricity generation, transmission and distribution markets etc. Some glimpses of past conference:
Glimpses of past edition of RDCAPE
Year 2019: The third edition of RDCAPE was hosted on 10-11 October 2019.In this edition many international professors attended and delivered keynote speeches.Prof. Zhihong Man, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia delivered an expert lecture on ‘Recent Development of Sliding Mode Observer for Nonlinear Systems’. Prof. Herald Weber, University of Rostock, Germany, gave talk on ‘A Safe Reliable and Regenerative Electrical Energy Supply to Power the Future’. Prof. Ishak Aris, Universiti Putra Malaysia, presented his views on ‘Applications of Deep Learning in Industry Revolution 4.0’.Prof. Abu Ahmad Siada, delivered talk on ‘Intelligent Techniques for Power Transformer Condition’.Dr. Yogendra Kumar Prajapati (Senior Member IEEE) from MNNIT, Allahabad presented his talk on ‘Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor: A Real-Time Sensing’.Total120 papers were presented and the conference proceeding was published by IEEE Xplore digital library and indexed by Scopus.
Year 2017:
The second edition of RDCAPE was hosted on 26th-27th October 2017. New areas like Artificial Intelligence, Information Theory, Machine Learning, Algorithm and Data Structure, Program Semantic & Verification, Natural Language Processing, Computational Complexity, Probabilistic Computational, etc. was added to the topics of conference. The guest speakers of this conference included Professor Vincenzo Piuri, Professor, Vincenzo Piuri, University of Milan, Italy, Prof. Mihaela Albu, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, "Politehnica" University of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania, Prof. Ishak Bin Aris, Faculty of Engineering, University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia, Prof. Belkacem Kada, Department of Aeronautical Engineering, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Makkah Province, Saudi Arabia, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Harald Weber, Professor, University of Rostock, Germany. Global Business Promotion Group / Headspring Inc., Tokyo, Japan was the industry partner of the conference. Total 99 papers were presented across seven different tracks and the conference proceeding was published by IEEE Xplore digital library and indexed by Scopus.
Year 2015:
The first edition of International conference on Recent Developments in Control, Automation and Power Engineering (RDCAPE 2015) was hosted by Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, ASET on 12th-13th March 2015. The main sponsors for the event were Jetair, Macro Powertech, Sofcon Training, Teewe, Welspun Energy Ltd. The guest of honors included Dr.Bhim Singh Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, Komla Agbenyo Folly, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Cape Town, South Africa. Guest speakers were mostly industry leaders from government organization, established academicians from international and national premier institutes, and researchers from established research labs. The conference proceeding consisting of 72 selected papers was publishedby IEEE Xplore digital library and indexed by Scopus.
