The Amity University, Jharkhand (Ranchi) envisaged its functions to provide for research, higher education, professional education, teaching training, extension and outreach including continuing education, distance learning and e-learning in the fields of science, technology, humanities, social sciences, education, management, commerce, law, pharmacy, healthcare and any other fields: and to sponsor and undertake research and educational programmes in the fields of science, technology, humanities, social sciences, education, management, commerce, law, pharmacy, healthcare and any other allied areas.

To provide education at all levels in all disciplines of modern times and in the futuristic and emerging frontier areas of knowledge, learning and research and to develop the overall personality of students by making them not only excellent professionals but also good individuals, with understanding and regard for human values, pride in their heritage and culture, a sense of right and wrong and yearning for perfection and imbibe attributes of courage of conviction and action.

OBJECTIVES OF THE UNIVERSITY

The objects of the University shall be to disseminate and advance knowledge and skill by providing instructional, research and extension of facilities and in such branches of learning as it may deem fit and the University shall endeavour to provide to students and teachers the necessary atmosphere and facilities for the promotion of:

  • Innovations in education leading to restructuring of courses, new methods of teaching, training, and learning including online learning, blended learning, continuing education and such other modes and integrated and wholesome development of personality.
  • Studies in various disciplines.
  • Inter disciplinary studies.
  • National integration, secularism and social equity, international understanding and ethics.

KEY FEATURES OF FDP ON LTCSER-2021

  • Total 15 Technical Sessions will be held on various aspects of Computer Science Education & Research during FDP - LTCSER-2021.
  • Three Sessions/Day; 2 sessions pre-lunch (10.00 am to 11.30 am and 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm), Lunch Break (01.30 pm to 02.15 pm) and one session after lunch (02.30 pm to 04.00 pm). Participant joining time is 9.45 am.
  • The FDP - LTCSER-2021 will be in Online mode and under Zoom Platform.
  • The Speakers of LTCSER-2021 are from India & abroad and are from Industry, IITs, NITs, or other reputed private Universities, Colleges or equivalent.
  • Assessment & Feedback (through Google Form) will be taken after each session.
  • E-Certificates should be given to all Participants after successful completion of their FDP. The participant must attend at least 90 % sessions of the FDP in full and must submit all assessment & feedback form after each session to get e-Certificate.
  • No Registration Fees for Participants.

Latest Trends in Computer Science Education & Research-2021” (LTCSER-2021)

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Amity Institute of Information Technology, Amity University Jharkhand (AUJ), organizes one week online FDP on “"Latest Trends in Computer Science Education & Research-2021” (LTCSER-2021)” from 26th July 2021 to 30th July 2021.

The “FDP- LTCSER-2021” will be one week program with estimated 120 participants from various Universities, Industries and Scientific Firms. The aim of this FDP is to bring Researchers, Academia, Industrialists and Technocrats from different parts of the country to a common gathering for exchanging and sharing the recent developments in the field of Computer Science Education & Research and its allied areas. The main objectives of this FDP (LTCSER-2021) are:

  • To provide a forum to exchange views, ideas & the latest innovations in the field of Computer Science Education and Research.
  • To offer learning on basics, emerging trends & challenges in the field of Computer Science Education & Research to improve faculty’s ability in carrying out research and publications in the field of new trends in Computer Science and its Applications.
  • To train and develop professionals in their area so that they can act as 'Resource Persons' in guiding and motivating young students.

OBJECTIVE OF THE FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP - LTCSER-2021) intends to provide financial assistance to facilitate up-gradation of knowledge, skill and intends to provide opportunities for induction training to Faculty Members employed in disciplines Engineering & Technology and Management Education also.

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP - LTCSER-2021) will cover areas such as new concepts, methods and techniques, theory and skills development and up gradation of pedagogy, educational technology, motivation, communication skills, management, and other relevant issues to keep pace with the changing scenario in Technical & Management Education.

The scheme is designed to enhance the teaching and other skills of the faculty. And to make them aware about modern teaching tools and methodologies. It provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge about current technological developments in relevant fields. It will not only promote the professional practices relevant to technical education but also motivates the faculty to achieve competitive teaching and learning environment, thus channelizing development with respect to academic qualifications and personal matters.
