Biotechnology is one of the promising fields of biology that involves application of scientific and engineering principles to the processing of materials by involving biological agents. The basic concept covers a wide range of techniques that are applied to develop the products for various human purposes. The upcoming International Conference on Challenges and Opportunities in Biotechnology to be organized in November 2021 by Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Jharkhand, Ranchi will be involving multidisciplinary fields of Biotechnology providing opportunities for exchange of ideas, scientific knowledge and experience among researchers, academicians, scientists and students from different fields of Biotechnology. The scientific program will include plenary/keynote lectures along with oral and poster presentation under different themes (mentioned below) based on sustainable principles, ideologies and practices involved in Biological Sciences, Computational approaches in Biotechnology, Microbial and Agricultural Biotechnology as well upcoming current technological advancements. The main aim of International Conference is to bring together leading academicians, eminent scientists, researchers and scholars from different Universities and Institutes of world to exchange and share their experiences in recent innovations as well as challenges in Biotechnology. The two-day International Conference will provide an international platform for discussion of recent advancements, present and future challenges in Biotechnology together with knowledgeable lectures, exceptional keynote together with competing posters and oral sessions.
Ranchi is the capital of the state of Jharkhand in India. Ranchi is also known as The Land of Forests. Ranchi is located on the southern part of the Chota Nagpur Plateau and is richly endowed natural beauty and picturesque environs. The City is named after a local bird ‘Rinchi’, mostly found in and around the famous “Pahadi Mandir”, the Hill Temple in Ranchi. Ranchi city has numerous waterfalls that are located in the close vicinity of the city and thus also known as the ‘City of Waterfalls and Lakes’. Ranchi is comprised of hilly topography that enables to a pleasant climate throughout the year. Ranchi accounts for nearly eighteen percent of the national mineral production. Ranchi is an integral part of the industrial setup of the state of Jharkhand along with Jamshedpur and Bokaro. Ranchi has also been recognized as a future powerhouse of the country’s economy by businesses and government alike. Ranchi has witnessed a tremendous transformation into a dynamic city pulsating with the dynamism of its people and is a city of India’s future.
The Conference envisages 8 technical sessions that will be composed of plenary lectures, Keynote Speakers, Invited Talks and Contributed papers (Oral presentations and Poster sessions). Recent advances as well as upcoming developments in different fields of Biotechnology will be discussed and reviewed. This conference will provide an interactive virtual platform for researchers around the world. Participants are anticipated from different Universities and Institutes all around the world. ICCOB organizing committee is pleased to invite abstracts for oral and poster presentations to be delivered at the conference. Last date of abstract submission is 30th September 2021. Notification of acceptance of abstract will be sent by 15th October 2021. Deadline to submit full length paper and final poster is 31st October 2021 for the selected abstracts. All accepted abstract after review will be assigned to the appropriate session for oral/poster presentation by ICCOB organizing committee.
Guidelines to submit the abstract:
• Submissions should be clear, concise, written in English language and in MS word file
• The text of each abstract should be approximately 250 words, and ideally no more than 350 words.
• Use font size 12 and font style Times New Roman, Spacing 1.5
• Carefully proofread your abstract before submission to avoid any typo/grammatical error.
• No references, tables or graphics should be included in the abstract
• Abbreviations should be avoided in the abstract. But if it’s necessary to use please write full name at first mention and follow with the abbreviation in parenthesis.
• Abstracts can be submitted to the conference email id (aibn@rnc.amity.edu) only
All accepted abstracts will be published as a conference proceeding with DOI/ISSN/ISBN. Selected high-quality full-length papers may be only considered for the publication in the reputed Journals.
Note: E-Certificate will be provided to the registered participants of the conference in addition to the 3 best oral and 3 best poster presentation E-Certificates.
