AMITY SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING

About us

Introduction of Institution

At the Amity School of Architecture and Planning, under the aegis of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, we prepare architects, planners and spatial thinkers for a world defined by climate urgency, technological transformation, and social complexity. The Cohort of 2026 enters a profession at a turning point. Cities are expanding, ecologies are under stress, digital intelligence is reshaping design processes and communities are demanding more inclusive, ethical and resilient built environments. At ASAP, we see this not as a challenge alone, but as a historic opportunity for your generation.
Our Educational Commitment
We are committed to three interconnected pursuits:
  • Design Excellence with Responsibility – Advancing architectural innovation grounded in sustainability, climate resilience, and contextual sensitivity.

  • Integrated Knowledge Systems – Bridging design, technology, humanities, entrepreneurship, and emerging digital tools such as BIM, parametric modeling, AI-assisted design, and performance analytics.

  • Leadership for the Built Environment – Cultivating professionals who can think independently, collaborate globally, and act ethically.

Our studios are not merely classrooms, they are laboratories of inquiry where real-world problems are tested against imagination, research, and technical rigor.
A Studio Culture that Builds Community
Our distinctive 'Vertical Studio model' brings together students across multiple years, fostering mentorship, peer learning and collaborative design thinking. Here, first-year curiosity meets final-year maturity. This structure mirrors professional practice and nurtures teamwork, leadership and mutual respect.

We integrate:

  • Competition-based design studios aligned with national and international briefs

  • Live industry-linked projects

  • Research-driven design explorations

  • Field immersions and urban documentation exercises

Students graduate not only with portfolios, but with experience navigating complex design ecosystems.
Industry, Research & Global Dialogue
ASAP actively connects academia with industry and global practice through:
  • International conclaves and conferences

  • Expert lectures and practitioner workshops

  • Entrepreneurial incubation exposure

  • Research publications and design-build initiatives

Our engagement platforms encourage students to contribute to contemporary debates, whether on sustainable urbanism, material innovation, housing equity or regenerative landscapes.
Infrastructure that Enables Inquiry
Situated in one of India’s most dynamic educational campuses in Noida, ASAP offers:
  • Advanced design studios

  • Digital fabrication and BIM-enabled workflows

  • Collaborative research spaces

  • A campus culture that supports intellectual growth, well-being, and creative exploration

We believe that a healthy mind, body and spirit are integral to architectural imagination.
For the 2026 Visionaries

If you are:

  • Curious about how cities evolve

  • Concerned about climate and community

  • Excited by design technologies

  • Motivated to create meaningful change

    Then you belong here!
The world does not need more buildings alone, it needs thoughtful environments, regenerative systems and courageous designers. We invite the Admission Cohort of 2026 to join us at ASAP, Noida, where architecture is not just studied, but questioned, tested, built, and reimagined.
Together, let us shape environments that are intelligent, humane and future-ready.
