The Geological Field Survey conducted by AIGIRS, Amity University Noida in Faridabad on 13 April 2026 as part of Geological Field Survey courses ( GEO603 )provided students with hands-on exposure to the Aravalli terrain, where they actively engaged in lithological identification, structural measurements, and geological mapping exercises at sites near Jharna Mandir and Badkhal Lake; the field-based learning approach enabled students to directly observe rock formations and geomorphological features in their natural setting, thereby strengthening their practical skills, critical thinking, and ability to interpret geological relationships, which are essential competencies for professional geologists and cannot be effectively developed through classroom learning alone
