About Us

Amity Centre for Nanomedicine (ACNM) is India’s first Nanomedicine Institute founded under the umbrella of Amity University Uttar Pradesh to boost research and education in nanomedicine. It brings together biologists and chemists having their strength in basic science and with application-oriented mindset to work together as cohesive unit for the development of novel therapeutics and healthcare devices. Our goal is to nurture talent, keep this goal in mind we offer master’s degree, PhD (full-time/part-time) programs in Nanomedicine wherein students can explore their creativity and their passion for science with freedom.

Our aim is to provide platform to fundamental research on the identification and validation of diseases biomarkers and cellular interactions, to a more applied cross-disciplinary research focused on the development of technologies for precision disease diagnosis and therapy, providing products ranging from low to high technology readiness levels (TRLs).

We strive towards outstanding research resulting in publications in top tier journals and develop low-cost affordable technologies especially in healthcare for the socially deprived section of our society.
