The advances in these fields have formed the basis for the worldwide technological developments.

About NCACT 2011

The National Conference on Advances in Computer Science and Technology focuses on recent trends in 'Computer Science & Technology' in different tracks and seeks new direction in the ever changing business and technology scenario. It provides a platform for joining hands and fostering industry - academia interactions through sharing experience, new ideas, research results and networking thus creating a synergy of interests. The conference will bring together leading researchers, scientists and engineers in the domain of interest from around the nation.

Objectives

In the era of rapidly changing technology there is a strong and urgent need for constant updation and synchronization with the latest global technology trends. The conference aims at the following:

Enriching business competencies and entrepreneurship skills by leveraging emerging technologies.
Developing the nation for meeting the rapidly changing industrial / corporate and societal demands.
Encouraging and motivating them to apply new / emerging technologies to the real / actual situations.
Understanding the industry leader’ s perspective on handling the recent challenge faced by the Indian IT Industry.

Coverage

The NCACT 2011 offers following six technology tracks focusing on various new emerging technologies as given below:

Hardware/ Software Design: Emphasizes on high-level tools and hardware/software tradeoffs, rather than low-level assembly-language programming and logic design.
Advance Software Engineering: Is concerned with the development of software components and libraries for major vendors and corporations. The areas of expertise are system and network management, network security, and web based user interface.
Artificial Intelligence: Focuses on creating machines that can engage on behaviors that humans consider intelligent.
Data Mining and Warehousing: Forms the basis for recent technological advances that are shaping the future of commercial database systems and intelligent information systems.
Computer Graphics and Multimedia: Explores the parameters of the applications, problems, and solutions related to computer graphics and multimedia disciplines.
Communication Engineering & Network Security: Provides the translation of user requirements for the exchange of information into cost-effective and low-risk technical solutions in terms of equipment and subsystems.

About ASET

ASET is a premier Institution within Amity University, U.P and it started functioning in August, 2003. ASET is one of the top Technical Institutions in the country imparting higher learning in the area of Engineering & Technology. Presently, it is offering two Postgraduate Programs – M.Tech.(CSE) & M.Tech.(ECE) and five B.Tech. Programs in the areas of Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Automation and Civil Engineering. Department of Computer Science & Engineering

Till date, four batches of students of B-tech (CS&E) and M-Tech (CSE) have passed out from the different department. They have been well-placed in different parts of the World with reputed software companies like Infosys, IBM, TCS, ORACLE,Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture and HCL. The CS&E Department has various Technical Clubs like Network Security Club, DBMS Club, Web Designing Club, Artificial Intelligence Club, Computer Architecture Club, Linux club and Software Engineering Club that organizes various Technical Events. Emphasis is laid on Higher Learning & Research in Software Reliability, Software Engineering, Advanced Communications & Networking, Data Warehousing & Data Mining, E-commerce, Network Security & Control, Artificial Intelligence & Neural Networks in which leading edge research is being carried out so that our students are motivated to go in for even higher studies in Computer Science and Technology.
