Sangathan is an annual inter-institutional sports meet organized by Department of Student Welfare to honour the birthday of our esteemed Founder, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan. This event celebrates the visionary leadership and dynamic contributions of our Honourable Founder President, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan. In 2024, Amity University Lucknow Campus hosted the Silver Jubilee edition of Sangathan, the 25th Inter-Amity University Sports Meet, held from September 13th to October 1, 2024. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, Pro Vice-Chancellor of AUUP Lucknow Campus, and chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Manju Agrawal, Dean of Student Welfare and Director of RACESPH.
The grand ceremony began with the hoisting of the "Sangathan Flag," followed by an impressive march past featuring over 2000 students from Amity University Lucknow Campus. Participants competed in numerous sports, including basketball, volleyball, and tug of war, striving to win the coveted trophies. Additionally, students presented vibrant cultural performances showcasing India's rich diversity. A total of 146 matches were organized. Hon’ble Chief Guest Mr Dinesh Kumar Singh, IAS (Retd) and Guest of Honour Mrs Meenakshi Bahadur Principal Study Hall School Lucknow graced the occasion.
Consequently, teams from AUUP Lucknow Campus travelled to AUUP Noida to participate in the Inter-University Sports Meet, which took place from October 21st to 24th, 2024. The delegation included 2 faculty members, 2 sports officers, and 54 students. The team bagged Gold medal in 100 mtr Race (Boys) and Silver medal in Volleyball (Girls).
AUUP Lucknow Campus secured overall 2nd Runner Up Position in Sangathan Meet at Noida.
