Amity Institute of Pharmacy, under the aegis of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus organized an online guest lecture on “What Do We Know About Albumin as a Sustainable Green Material for Drug Delivery" on 14th October 2024. The event was meticulously synchronized to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees. Esteemed Dr. Ankit Rochani, Assistant Professor in Wegmans School of Pharmacy, St. John Fisher University, Rochester, NY was invited to share his expertise on the topic. The guest lecture provided more depth as Albumin, a natural, biodegradable protein, has garnered significant attention due to its excellent carrier properties, making it ideal for drug delivery applications. With the rising demand for sustainable approaches in healthcare, exploring albumin-based systems for personalized medicine offered a timely and innovative avenue. The presentation aimed to highlight advancements in albumin hydrogels and their potential for creating efficient, customizable therapeutic solutions.
Participants were engaged through an interactive Q&A session, where Dr. Rochani addressed various queries, further enhancing their understanding of the topic. Dr. Rochani also explained various opportunities in the USA for doing Ph.D. and Master program.
