As part of the institute's tradition and a gesture of goodwill, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, AUUP, Lucknow campus, organized a Fresher’s Party on October 11, 2024, to formally welcome the first-year students of B. Pharm, M. Pharm, and Pharm D programs. The much-anticipated event, eagerly awaited by students, was hosted by the second-year students of M. Pharm, B. Pharm, and Pharm D. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. (Prof.) Anuradha Mishra, Director of AIP. The program began with a heartfelt welcome to the newcomers, followed by a melodious musical performance by the second-year B. Pharm students. The judging panel included Dr. (Prof.) Anuradha Mishra, Dr. Zeeshan Fatima, Dr. Poonam Parashar, Dr. Lucy Mohapatra, Dr. Ajamal Tariq, Dr. Swati Prakash, Dr. Vishakha Jaiswal, Dr. Mohd. Yasir, Dr. Rahul Maurya, Dr. Supriya Roy, Dr. Pragya, and Dr. Siddhant. The faculty coordinators for the event were Dr. Pragyandeep, Ms. Indu Melkani, and Ms. Sunita Thakur. The ceremony was moderated by Ms. Annanya and Mr. Azam. In addition to musical performances, the second-year students organized fun competitions like balloon blowing and musical chairs for the freshers. The highlight of the event was the ramp walk, where freshers showcased their style and confidence. Participants were judged based on their performances and responses to questions from the judges. Ultimately, the titles of Mr. and Ms. Freshers were awarded to Mr. Kaustubh Shukla and Ms. Ishita Pal for B. Pharm, and Mr. Ahtasham and Ms. Khushi Panday for Pharm D. All freshers received gifts as a token of welcome from the institute.
