I am fortunate to be able to work on my PhD thesis under the supervision of such experienced and well-respected professors. The department is well established in media studies and is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure. This PhD programme is benefiting me by teaching me to write several quality research papers for reputed journals as well as preparing me for a successful career in academia. The guidance of such brilliant faculties has made me understand that a true scholar is a life-long learner who is always curious to learn new things.

ASCO's integrated learning environment empowered me with practical skills and crucial industry insights needed to thrive as a Tech Journalist. The placement cell seamlessly aligned my interests with a suitable placement, supported by ongoing mentorship from ASCO's Faculty.

Amity School of Communication wasn't just textbooks. It took my learning to a whole new level. Their curriculum wasn't theoretical; it was packed with real-world case studies. Analyzing campaigns used by industry giants like Dentsu, Ogilvy helped me understand how communication works in the real world. Plus, their extensive interview prep workshops were a game-changer. They weren't just generic tips; they were tailored to the specific advertising sector. Practicing mock interviews with industry professionals and dissecting case studies built my confidence and prepared me for the actual interview.

Life is full of twists and turns, opportunities and pitfalls, but with a belief in yourself and your capabilities, there is no limit to what you can accomplish. Amity has helped me grow as a better and more confident individual, which is something you can only get when you're surrounded by supportive peers who believe in you. The media industry is full of opportunities; you just have to be quick enough to grab them. At Amity, I explored different niches and figured out my capabilities before venturing off into the professional world.

Amity University was extremely beneficial in shaping my career and personality. I am grateful to my professors and mentors for making the journey of teaching and learning more enjoyable and interactive. The abundance of opportunities provided by the media department enabled me to pursue my passion.

The PhD programme at Amity School of Communication gave me opportunities to explore my field of study deeply. I received guidance from brilliant professors who mentored me all along the way. Amity also prepared me for a successful career in academia. It is a privilege to be a part of such an esteemed institute.

ASCO has had a significant impact on me, with two degrees and a wealth of memories. Each member of the faculty is engaged and among the best in their field, and I enjoyed learning from them. Their enthusiasm for ideas and commitment to mentoring pushed me to consider big research questions and contributions, which helped me define myself as a scholar. My time at Amity shaped who I am and who I aspire to be professionally and personally.

In my career, ASCO has been one of the most important pillars. The relationship between faculty and students is very cordial, which gave me an opportunity to detect my capabilities and excel in them. My three-year journey was splendid with so much learning and has helped me grow better professionally and personally. I am extremely thankful to my department and my mentor, Dr. (Prof.) Sanjay Mohan Johri, who believed in my convictions and pushed me to become a better person today.

Every day is not the same in the media, and similarly, each day was filled with different colours at Amity University. From ups to downs and from triumphs to failures, life has been peppered with different emotions. As someone who is now loved by seniors at work, I believe that the values I learnt at ASCO helped me to carve a niche in the professional circuit.

Life is all about exploring and experimenting. ASCO offered various platforms and gave fire to my inquisitive nature, which I believe is still helping me grow both personally and professionally. I went to ASCO as a student and walked out as a professional journalist, proving myself one day at a time.

The institute provided me with every opportunity to succeed. My undergrad professors were excellent mentors to me because they were genuinely enthusiastic about the subjects we studied here. They were always encouraging me to try new things, be creative, and push myself. By the end of my senior year, I had not only completed a number of projects that allowed me to apply what I had learned, but I had also participated in several extracurricular activities organised by the institution, which helped to boost my confidence. As a result, my three years at ASCO were more than a learning experience.

A university is often a challenge to sail through, given the kind of diverse demography that it caters to. Adjustment to a new phase of life is critical. But ASCO makes us feel at home. From an ice-breaking session to delivering projects and facilitating learning, ASCO makes you self-reliant by the time students bid goodbye to the campus on completion of their academic course.

It was at Amity Lucknow that I took the first step to explore and identify myself as a potential audio professional. We were encouraged by our faculty of filmmaking to go and shoot a 30-minute fiction film, where I handled the location and post-production sound along with other batchmates for the very first time. This learning and hands-on experience became the root of a wonderful journey to FTII Pune and eventually the Indian film industry. Some of my key projects are  Haseen Dillruba (2021), Raid (2018), Out of Time (2021) and Masoom, Hotstar.

The sharpest, average, and weakest students co-exist with equal ease at ASCO. Students do not have to be super talented to win the hearts of faculty. Many a time, the topper helps out weak students in projects and vice versa. We don’t just break bread together; we also spend hours studying in a magnificent and state-of-the-art campus.
