English Proficiency & Soft Skills Training

ASCENT  Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus had organised the 8th Batch of its ten- day Corporate Training Programme for the employees of Lucknow Metero Rail Corporation Ltd. ( LMRC).

The training programme titled “English Proficiency & Soft Skills” was slated to be held from the 24th September- 5th October, 2018 within the precincts of the Amity University Lucknow Campus (AAUP). This eighth batch of LMRC employees were trained by the department, ASCENT who have already become a part of the vibrant LMRC workforce.

The curriculum conceptualized by Dr. Nalina Singh was efficiently delivered by the joint efforts of the Communication Faculty of ASCENT.

The team successfully conducted training of the previous LMRC batches and was once again able to accomplish the training objectives as reiterated by Mr. Kumar Keshav, Managing Director at LMRC.

The training programme had been meticulously planned and designed to cover various Modules which are vital for developing and improving upon the English Proficiency and Soft Skills of the LMRC employees in their everyday interactions and workplace.

The training modules covered a total of 60 hours of training which are broadly divided into the following sessions Grooming Basics, Social skills, Team work, Confident Communication, Business Writing, Basics of Correct Pronunciation, Customer Service Essentials, Interpersonal Skills, Business Meetings and Integrated Exercises for Assessment of learning. The participants were encouraged to stay actively involved in the training sessions through a host of interactive activities and games in addition to presentations, class discussions, exercises and informative videos incorporated by the trainers.

The programme was successfully delivered by a highly efficient and experienced set of trainers from ASCENT which included Dr. Nalina Singh, Mr. R.K. Singh, Ms. Kristina Dixon, Ms. Snighdha Singh, Ms. Smita Srivastava, Mr. S.M. Kaunain Abidi, Ms. Bhavya Visen, Ms.Vomika Soni & Ms. Faiza Mumtaz.
