The Ministry of Education has established the Innovation Cell (MIC) to encourage higher education institutions to innovate. In 2018, MIC, in partnership with AICTE, introduced the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) programme for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to stimulate innovation. Each of the participating institutes was given the task of establishing an IIC and carrying out the stipulated activities.
The key mandate of MIC is to encourage, motivate, and nurture young students by assisting them in developing new ideas and prototypes while they are still in their formative years. We are pleased to announce the establishment of IIC-AUR in November 2020.
Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur has established an Institution's Innovation Council (IC202115679) in the campus as per the norms of Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India during the academic calendar year 2020-21.
