"My five years at Amity University Rajasthan have been excellent and a memory to cherish for a lifetime. The years spent here have been full of learning opportunities that were full of fun and frolic and sometimes with academic grind that one has to go through. The workshops, surveys and practical training exposure makes you a better man to face the challenges of the real world. So here I am today working for myself in real world and have my own Art and HomeDecor brand MKArtsByMajidKhan and with that doing fieldwork too as an Architect. Amity University Rajasthan is a place of learning, fun, culture, lore, literature and many such life preaching activities. Studying at the Amity University brought an added value to my life. It gave me an opportunity to meet different kind of people and learn a number of things with helped me to explore and learn different aspects of architecture. I have received a great support from faculties & pals. I am thankful to Amity for grooming me for my better future with every aspect they had. And at last but not the least thankyou so much for all these never ending memories and experiences.

Amity University have always believed in helping and guiding its student. I was a student of ASAP department, which has always been a creative and artistic hub for the whole University. The best part was 'Arch-O-Lunio'. An architectural event that we used to celebrate annually, which brought all the students from different colleges together to celebrate the architectural festival. I can not thank enough to our faculties and HOD who have always been supportive and inspiring to us throughout our whole journey.

My name is Aditya Ambare, an amity alumnus from 2016 batch. I am currently pursuing my masters in advanced architecture from Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC Barcelona). Being a part of the foundation batch of Amity School of Architecture and Planning lead to many high-spirited academic experiences. The spirit of exploration, team work and experimentation exuded during my academic tenure. We were always encouraged to go beyond our university walls to take part in competitions, architecture -festivals, conferences and workshops. Under the mentorship of Dr. Jitendra Singh we learned valuables lessons both architecturally and professionally which showed in our work and benefitted us immensely. Also, our daily interactions with fellow students from different branches also developed bonds which still last and has led to some of my finest memories from my bachelor’s.

When I reflect upon my five years in Amity University, Rajasthan’s Architectural program, I conclude that the experience not only made me a person who is about to pursue her career as an Architect  but also helped and prepared me in unpredictable ways for my future in becoming a better person at heart. Through workshops and lectures with incredibly supportive classmates, juniors, seniors and professors who were nothing short of champions in one way or the other and in different fields, I was challenged to discover a voice that I didn’t know even existed within. That voice has played a central role in my life, as giving a thought is vital to planning, to imagination, to communication, and to engagement. Having been shaped in part by the collegial and creative but rigorous environment at Amity, I found myself able to communicate, innovate, and collaborate in ways that enabled me to build a successful communication dedicated practice. In my current role as an architect in ABM Consultants, Delh,i I work with a broader community ranging from site supervisors to high end clients and I deal with them every day with the dispositions I developed during my time in Amity University. It was wonderful time of my life and a great educational experience.  

Pursuing Master’s in Industrial Design IIT Bombay

When I joined Amity, the architecture department had just started a year ago. Even though being a very young institution at the time it provided it with a lot of resources and opportunities for us to stand out and be among the best. Even to this date teachers and students keep in touch and are always there, ready to help. This place has created memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Today, when I look back at the time I spent at Amity, I can proudly say that it helped me grow and evolve not only professionally, but on a personal level as well. During my time of study at the university, I worked with a very diverse peer group of students, with different interests and ambitions in life. With Prof(Dr.) Jitendra Singh at helm of affairs, and some very learned faculty members to interact with, the environment was highly vibrant and overall a very engaging & stimulating learning experience. In addition to the subject knowledge gained, I was able to acquire and strengthen my interactive skills while at Amity. From being a self-contained teenager, ready to shrink into a shell to becoming a confident individual, I owe a great deal to my Alma Mater. I shall forever be grateful.
