It is a very basic and key requirement in today's competitive age to have a good degree from a reputed college. More often than not, a college's background becomes a key criterion when it comes to making a choice. I'm actually glad that I didn't let this set stigma decide my choice of college and I chose the Law School of Amity University, Madhya Pradesh, which started off with its first batch from academic year 2013-14. Amity Law School, AUMP, has everything a law student could ask for from a law school. The facilities and amenities include: well-stocked library, state-of-the-art moot court, humongous campus, incredible infrastructure, super-fast wi-fi with IP access to SCC online, Manupatra and other legal search engines, student placement cell and helpful student oriented faculties. Apart from all this, Amity Law School has a religious practice of organising 1 ‘National Law Seminar’ every year. The law school also has a similar practice when it comes to organising national moot court competitions as well. The university is located in Gwalior, a city that has one of the three High Court benches in Madhya Pradesh, which makes it a good choice for law aspirants who wish to learn the practice law, as they can intern under an advocate in the High Court. Amity Law School may have a strict attendance policy, but it never stops its students from participating in law-related events, be it moot courts, seminars and MUNs throughout various colleges in India..
In my opinion, Amity Law School, Amity University, Madhya Pradesh checks all the boxes of a prime law school and I owe my professional excellence to this law school.
