Established in 2018, Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP) offers Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, a 4 years undergraduate programme. The institute forms part of Amity University Madhya Pradesh and approved by Pharmacy Council of India. It has four Departments that work together towards discovery of novel drugs & new formulations that can be evaluated in the preclinical and clinical setup for providing a better healthcare. The programme comprises a variety of approaches to teaching Pharmacy including lectures, seminars, tutorials, problem-based learning, site-visits, computer-assisted learning, online group assignments, communication skills, career planning, clinical case studies, laboratory and dispensing practicals, and a research project. This drug-based course enables students to get exposure and access to cutting-edge and contemporary equipment for research and implementation. The institute has purpose-built teaching spaces and technology-enhanced learning space which allows students to interact and develop communication skills. We encourage our students to undertake industrial training and practice school course during the prefinal year of the programme. The strength of AIP’s B. Pharmacy programme is the undergraduate research project, which gives students the opportunity to develop skill in field research with one-to-one supervision. The institute strive and ensure good placements for the students by providing training and mock interviews sessions. Pharmacy at AIP opens a wide variety of professional opportunities in both industry and in the wider healthcare sector in India and abroad.

The Institute offers Bachelor's in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) Program with an annual intake of 100 students. It has excellent human resources to facilitate and guide learning that is pursued with zeal and zest. They actively practice contemporary learner-centric pedagogies and innovative teaching methods. They are prominent for their outstanding research and dedicate their effort in editing books and authoring book chapters to leading publishers. Many of the ideas and inventions of our faculty members are granted patents.

Amity University Madhya Pradesh is recognized by The Committee for Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CCSEA), a statutory Committee of Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying (MoFAH&D), Government of India, constituted under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA) Act, 1960 for the purpose of “Research for Education purpose on Small animals”. (File No: 25/12/2017-CPCSEA).
The Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) of AUMP periodically meets to clear projects on laboratory animals of various investigators of the different departments of the Institute. The animal house has different section for each species e.g., Rats, Mice, Guinea pig and Rabbits to avoid disease transmission and inter-species conflicts. The animal rooms are supplied with exhaust fans and air conditioning for fresh air exchange in animal rooms with sufficient lighting and uninterrupted power and water supply. The animal house facility boosts the academic and research environment in the emergent fields of experimental pharmacology, molecular biology and toxicology. The facility is to assist the investigators with ethical usage of animals for their research while maintaining compliance with the CCSEA. Qualified members of faculty are always at hand to help in research and keep it following the standards established by CCSEA. The Animal house provides pre-clinical testing in conformity with national and international regulatory guidelines.
Amity University Madhya Pradesh signed Memorandum Of Understanding with Asian Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (AIMST) University Malaysia. The MOU aimed at fostering academic, research, and cultural exchanges between AUMP and AIMST. This agreement embodies the shared vision and commitment towards enhancing educational quality, innovation, and global connectivity.
