Rural Initiatives

Amity United Football is highly committed to promoting football at the grassroots level, and increasing the sport’s popularity amongst the youth. We have already launched ten “Football Development Centers” in rural areas of Haryana to identify and promote talent from within the villages. The experiment is bearing fruit and a great number of children turn up for regular training sessions. It is our goal that many more such centers are established to promote football. If you know of a village where we should promote football amongst the youth, do let us know.


School outreach

To spread the craze of football, we need to reach out to school children. Amity United Football Club is continuously working to promote the sport amongst the schools in the NCR, including the 60,000 students of Amity.

We recently conducted the “Football Summer Camp ‘07” at the Amity International Schools at Saket, Noida and Gurgaon. There was tremendous turnout and by popular demand we are continuing with these camps all year round.

We believe that if we ignite the interest of the Indian youth at an early age, they will become football fans for life.
