DECCAN HERALD FASHION SHOW was held on 19th Feb 2015 , wherein student models and designers from 21 colleges put up their best show.

AMITY SCHOOL OF FASHION TECNOILOGY came up with theme "EXPLOSION- LIBERATION OF WOMENHOOD", giving a competitive edge to the show

The show was judged by designers Shelly Jyoti and Manish Tripathi, Bharatanatyam dancer Geeta Chandran and popular MTV Roadies contestant Khushi Bhat.

The students of Amity School of Fashion Technology, Noida participated in the Fashion Show organized during Fashion carnival on 20TH DECEMBER, 2017.

The Fashion event had been organized at Sports Ground, Satyam Fashion Institute, Sector 62 , Noida

The students of Amity School of Fashion Technology had designed and created a Collection - SHIMMERING FLORALS.

The Collection comprised of one piece dresses to two piece ensemble that were created by using crafted flowers in shimmering textures. There were as many different floral patterns as there are actual flowers in the world, which made this collection very exciting. The color palette revolved around Blues from azure, Cobalt Blue, Cyan, tiffany Blue to turquoise and leaf green using shimmer. The silhouettes were extravagant and truly narrating the Floral theme in shimmer.

Amity School of Fashion Technology, Noida along with AUH participated in DELHI TIMES FASHION WEEK On 30th May 2024 at The Grand, Vasant Kunj. It was an honour to have Ms. Divya Chauhan, Chairperson ASFT and Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Joshi, Group Addl. Pro Vice Chancellor, Director General & Dean (Applied Arts/Fine Arts/Performing Arts/Visual Arts), Amity University grace the event with their esteemed presence. They played an instrumental role in representing our organization/institution and demonstrating our commitment to supporting the fashion industry.

 

The show was attended by 4 faculty members, 20 Parents of Students Designers and over 100 students of Amity School of Fashion Technology, Noida and AUH.

 

The purpose of this event was to provide our students with a platform to showcase their talent and creativity in front of a wider audience. Our students had the opportunity to showcase their designs, interact with the audience, and receive feedback from industry experts.

The garments were short listed from B.Des (FD), Semester VIII. The students brought Complete Concept note with all boards and sketches for participating. The alterations and fittings were done by students on 28th of May 2024. The criteria for the selection will be based on four parameters comprising of:

 

  • Concept Development
  • Innovation in design process
  • Application of Skills based on finishing and
  • Final Execution

 

The total no. of garment presented were 16, (11 garments by ASFT, Noida and 5 garments by AUH). The students also, volunteered for four days in Delhi Times Fashion Show.
