Invitation for Organizing Special Session on Themes Based Topics

Collaborative efforts lead to substantial accomplishments, with this viewpoint, CONFLUENCE -2016 invited eminent academicians, scientists, researchers, industrialists, technocrats, government representatives, social visionaries and experts from all strata of society to work together for more meaningful and professional outcome. The CONFLUENCE -2016 team planned to hold special sessions on various areas of expertise, in any of the tracks based on related theme. These Special Sessions will be chaired by experts from different fields. The presentation of the papers under such Special Sessions will be scheduled at the venue of the conference, on any of the three days (pre-intimated) during the conference.

The shortlisted papers will be accepted for presentation and publication in the Soft Copy of Conference proceedings, bearing ISBN serial 978-93-80544-20-5, in the form of DVDs.

In case of proposing special session, you need to fulfill the following criteria:

In case of organizing a special session, you may designate to yourself as the Chairman of this Special Session or you may become the Convener and may designate any of your senior colleague as the Chairman of this Special Session. As the Chairperson / Convener of a Special Session, you will primarily be responsible for promoting your session, releasing Call for Papers (CFP), inviting papers, getting them submitted through the online paper submission facility of the conference CONFLUNEC-2016 and selecting at-least 10 quality papers, after carrying out the due review process.

We will assist you during review process for your special session if you require any further help in reviewing etc. However, our Conference Committee will be pleased to extend you the basic administrative and preliminary review support, including the plagiarism checking facility, using the worlds most authentic software, Turnitin. The acceptance ratio of the papers should not be more than 25%. The presentation of the papers under your special session will be scheduled on the venue of the conference, as per your convenient slot, on any of the days during the conference. For your Special Sessions, you will be free to form your own Technical Programme Committee(s) having Session Chairman, Convener and other members, which along with the Session details and organizational logo, if required, will be publicized through our web-portal.

As a gesture, we will be pleased to extend you a free registration to attend the conference. In fact, as a Chairperson / Convener of a Special Session, you will be given a Virtual Credit Note of 20% of the total registration fee received by us on account of registration of the accepted papers from your Special Session, which may be redeemed for any / all of the following, subject to the maximum ceiling of 20%:

  • Travel Expenditure / Local Transport / Accommodation of Session Chair / Co-Chair / Convener/Amity Guest House.
  • Registration / Travel Expenditure / Local Transport / Accommodation of certain authors / co-authors subject to approval from General Chair.
  • Gives you a valuable feedback from learned and knowledgeable experts
  • Discounted Registration of few authors / co-authors, in case of bulk registrations subject to approval from General Chair.

Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore digital library for publications.

It will be solely your (Session Chair) and General Chair discretion to decide how you wish to utilize this Virtual Credit Note of 20%. However, cash refund will not be given on account of any un-utilized %age of the Virtual Credit Note. No cash will be given to any session chair under any circumstances.


You are invited to submit your proposal online for organizing an Special Session, at the earliest, but not later than 31st September, 2015. Also send a copy of .doc of same documents.
