CALL FOR POSTER

Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), one of the pioneer institutions in the field of Engineering, Research and Technology is organizing its Confluence-2016: GLOBAL Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Summit, 6th International Conference on Cloud System and Big Data Engineering on the theme Cloud System and Big Data Engineering. Confluence-2016 intends to bring together Professionals, Academicians, Industry Experts, Researchers and Enthusiasts to discuss various emerging trends and innovations, share research results and new directions in the field of next generation technologies. This technical conference aims at providing a platform for industry and academia for sharing advancements in research and development in upcoming areas of Information Technology. Confluence 2016 is organizing a poster paper session aimed at showcasing work in progress. The poster papers are an independent part of the conference, and are not selected from the main submission of the full length papers. The poster track of Confluence-2016 will provide an enthralling opportunity for presenting breaking results, ongoing research projects and spectacular and innovative work in progress.
Authors are cordially invited to submit original poster papers on latest emerging technologies in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.
The idea of the Poster paper presentation session in Confluence-2016 is to bring the scholars, scientists, industrialists from all over the world in the IT industry to a common platform and achieve the following benefits:

• Provides a great opportunity to share your work and network with other presenters and attendees.
• Promotion of your poster in an International conference "Confluence 2016".
• Gives you a valuable feedback from learned and knowledgeable experts
• If you present poster in Confluence-2016, you will also be eligible to attend 2 days (14th -15th Jan 2016) workshop free of cost by reputed industries like EMC, D-Link on edge cutting IT technologies.

Instructions for Posters:

• Poster must be colour printed.
• Poster title must be 40 pt in Times New Roman.
• Normal text size should be at least 20 pt in Times New Roman.
• Author name, department etc. must be in 14 pt in Times New Roman.
• Each visual should have a caption.

Best Poster Award:

Posters will be reviewed by members of poster committee based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. The Best poster award will be of INR 10000.

Important Dates:

Final Poster Submission Deadline : 15th October 2015 15th November 2015
Notification of acceptance : 30th November 2015
Last Date of Registration : 15th December 2015

Submit Poster:

Send your poster paper via email with subject line "POSTER SUBMISSION-'Title of poster'" to Email id: gtie2016@amity.edu Authors are instructed to strictly include only that matter in their printed posters which they will send through email. They cannot reduce or increase the contents autonomously in final printed posters.
After approval, the final poster, Copyright form and Registration form should be submitted along with Registration & Copyright form.

Registration fee can be paid by demand draft in favor of "Amity University Uttar Pradesh" payable at Noida.

Design and layout specifications:

• The poster size must be 24" x 30". The poster does not necessarily have to fill the entire working area.
• Maximum three persons can participate in one poster.
• Limit the text to about one-fourth of the poster space, and use "visuals" (graphs, diagrams, schematics, maps, etc.) to explain the concept.
• Posters can be oriented either horizontally or vertically.
• Poster title should be positioned at the top-center of the poster.
• Author name, department, and Institution should be positioned at Right-bottom of the poster.
• Please submit the poster abstract that explains the main contribution of your work at the time of submission. The poster abstracts: (i) must not exceed a single page, (ii) must be written with 12 point font, (iii) must contain up to two figure, (iv) can refer up to 7 references, (v) must not use section names, (vi) must not contain detailed derivations, and (vii) must limit the use of equations to a necessary minimum.
• Make it obvious to the viewer how to progressively view the poster.
• Poster should be presented within allotted time of 5 minutes.
• Use color to enhance comprehension, not for decoration.

Registration Fees:

Registration Fee for the Poster Presentation is INR 1000 per author(Indian) or USD 25 per author (Non-Indian). It is mandatory for at least one author to register in order to present the poster in the session. In case of more than one author, all the authors have to be registered to get the Poster Presentation Certificate.
