Amity Research Fellowships (ARF)

ARF (Amity Research Fellowship):

Master’s from a recognised Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks or Equivalent CGPA OR a four-year bachelor’s degree from a recognised Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field with minimum 75% marks or Equivalent CGPA (wherever applicable).

• Maximum age of 28 years when applying.
• A valid CSIR or UGC-NET (Category -2) qualification in relevant subject and meritorious academic and research credentials.
• A full-time Ph.D. scholar in the university. 
• The ARF shall be granted to meritorious candidates based on their eligibility categories, on the recommendations of the Selection Committee.

Note: The prescribed qualifications for ARF are minimum requirements and mere possession of these qualifications does not entitle a candidate to be granted ARF.

Fee Waivers:

• Master’s from a recognised Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks or Equivalent CGPA OR a four-year bachelor’s degree from a recognised Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field with minimum 75% marks or Equivalent CGPA (wherever applicable).
• Maximum age of 28 years when applying.
• A valid CSIR or UGC-NET- Category 1 / 2 / 3 or INSPIRE qualification in relevant subject or High APET score; AND a meritorious academic record (applicable to all categories)
• A full-time Ph.D. scholar in the university. 
• The fee concession shall be granted to meritorious candidates based on their eligibility categories, on the recommendations of the Selection Committee.

Note: The prescribed qualifications for fee concession are minimum requirements and mere possession of these qualifications does not entitle a candidate to be granted a fee waiver.

• Any Grant will be based on merit/ performance in further interviews and subject to fulfilling the eligibility and T&C laid down by the university.
• If awarded ARF, candidates can expect fellowship of 37,000/- per month.
• If granted fee waiver, candidates can expect fee concession up to 100% per semester. 
• ARF or a fee waiver shall be awarded for a maximum period of three (3) years. It shall automatically terminate upon successful completion of Pre-Ph.D. Seminar or completion of three (3) years whichever is earlier.
• Amity Research Fellowship/grant recipients will be required to Assist in teaching, laboratory work, or academic activities (6–8 hours per week as prescribed by the university).
