This reminder reflects the essence of AMIMUN’26. True excellence in governance, diplomacy, or personal growth rests on discipline: the discipline to learn with humility, act with integrity, and persevere with resilience. Without it, ambition falters, and what remains is mediocrity, bringing only disappointment.

It is in this spirit that I, Debanjan Dasgupta, Secretary-General of AMIMUN’26, welcome you all to the 15th edition of the Amity International Model United Nations. From January 16th to 18th, 2026, at Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, I envision AMIMUN’26 as a platform where young minds unite in diplomacy, dialogue, and discovery anchored in discipline and driven toward excellence.

Virtus Per Disciplinam-“Excellence through Discipline”, the theme of this year, reminds us that true leadership is not merely defined by rhetoric or ambition, but by the unwavering consistency to strive for meaningful impact, the resilience to overcome adversity, and the steadfast discipline to remain anchored in our principles. Discipline serves as the compass that directs us toward responsibility, clarity, and advancement at a time when divides and diversions sometimes impair judgment. We foster excellence in ourselves and the communities we serve by practicing this discipline of thinking, action, and purpose.

At AMIMUN, we believe that discipline is the cornerstone of true leadership, shaping individuals who are principled, steadfast, and prepared to confront the complexities of our world. By guiding delegates to think with discernment, listen earnestly, and act with integrity, this platform transforms every dialogue into an experience that cultivates perseverance, patience, and meaningful growth.
