International Court of Justice (ICJ)

The International Court of Justice is the judicial body of the United Nations which serves as a forum to resolve international disputes. It applies international law to real-world cases, such as border conflicts and human rights issues. It reviews evidence, argues points, and interprets laws to ensure fair judgments. The committee emphasizes legal reasoning, ethics, and justice, showcasing how legal principles foster peaceful resolutions between nations.
At AMIMUN '25, ICJ explores the legality and morality of nuclear threats or use, addressing the urgent global challenge of preventing nuclear conflict.
